We have navigated via impulse engines to a stable orbit around the planet near it’s sole moon.

MOON SCAN:

• The moon is small, approximately 1,200 kilometers in diameter
• The surface is rocky and barren, with numerous signs of ship wreckages and debris
• Life signs in the northern hemisphere of the moon

We’ve opened communication channels to the moon and have received a response from a construction company, Brekt’s Breakers. They claim to have been stranded here on this moon for years. They have a powerful electromagnetic harpoon that they aimed and fired in our direction, but my excellent piloting skills allowed us to evade the attack. We managed to leave the range of the harpoon, but as we left, Brekt hailed us and warned us not to join “the others” on the moon. I am not sure what that means, but it is concerning. We will continue to monitor the situation and gather more information about the moon and its inhabitants.

SUPPLEMENTAL LOG:

We came across a large wreck we have identified as the Perennial Tyrant. It appears to have been a military corvette, retrofitted and demilitarized for colony transport. It is heavily damaged, having made a hard landing some time ago, possible as much as a decade. We searched the ship, finding rations and repair supplies.
