This was not the safest path. We were assaulted by strange walkers, floating death skulls, and lightning strikes. We eventually made our way to the center of the storm, discovering some strange interplanar gateways. We managed to discover strange new weaponry on the way, but we wer no match for the creatures that emerged from the gateway. Writhing, flying worms and a great, gaunt creature with a deathly scream.

GATEWAY ANALYSIS:

• The gateways appear to be interplanar, leading to other dimensions or planes of existence. They are likely the source of the electromagnetic activity we observed on the Alexis, and may be responsible for the screams we heard.
• Massive cables are attached to the gateway, leading off and into the ground in multiple directions. We have not been able to determine their purpose, but they may be related to the energy required to power the gateway or to the creatures that emerge from it.

We decided to enact a tactical retreat, making our way back to the Matron’s Call. We were pursued by the creatures, but we managed to escape and return to the ship. Strange yellow hail storms rained down on us as we made our way back, causing us to need to seek shelter, but were able to eventually return to our ship.
